That’s where CTAcademy comes in.  Founded by Cavalleria Toscana, Italy’s iconic equestrian apparel brand, CTAcademy is a boutique training program designed to develop riders not only as athletes, but as complete professionals and leaders in the sport.

Unlike traditional riding programs that focus narrowly on technique, CTAcademy provides a balanced, multidisciplinary approach. The program combines world-class equestrian instruction, mental coaching, athletic conditioning, and leadership development into one transformative experience.

Melissa Lu, ELLA founder and Principal for CT Academy in Asia, plays a key role as an advisor and connecting talent across borders. Through her leadership, promising Chinese riders have joined CTAcademy programs, gaining rare access to European training formats, mentorship, and global community.

One standout example is a masterclass in Antibes, France, where only 15 hand-selected riders from around the world were invited. Among them were three Chinese riders personally selected by Melissa to join this special session led by Marcus Ehning, a world-class Olympic show jumper and one of the sport’s most respected athletes. This opportunity offered not just instruction—but true inspiration.

CTAcademy’s holistic model includes guidance from renowned experts such as Marco Panichi, a sports fitness coach known for working with top-tier athletes like mens tennis superstar Novak Djokovic and Olympic gold medalist Peder Fredricson.  Under the technical direction of Matteo Giunti, the academy has a full service team that also integrates mental coaching, horsemanship theory, and personal development.
